Okke is simple-to-use book-keeping software for small businesses and solo professionals, a subsidiary of Cashflow Manager Pty Ltd, located in Adelaide, Australia. 

 

I joined within the digital transformation phase of the company, and my top achievements were to pick up a legacy software and transform it into the web, I had introduced Scrum and Design thinking ideation workshop with through cross-departments stemming from Customer Engagement, operations, marketing, design and development, in order to elicit collaboration with traditional BABOK business analysis techniques to shape product features.

 

As a Scrum master, I prioritize technical debt, bug triage and product features that return valuable impact to customers and stakeholders and introduce an improved method of user story writing vs functional specifications. I worked closely with Users, conducting user research, and usability testing interviews with Lookback.io and conducted an Acid test program, acquiring 100 Pilot users company-wide.


I presented resource budgeting, calculated velocity, and monitored outcomes & output whilst conducting Customer engagement product training, I was the BA for special projects with integration partners and completed scoping briefs for special API-based integration, and gathered partner approvals. 

  • Prioritized user stories for current and future sprints, provide guidance on new customer apps and clarification with stories and assisted with any impediments on resolutions.

Handdii is an Insurtech early-stage startup based in Australia & the US with $3 million in Seed funding and invested by Brick & Motor and 94 Ventures in San Francisco. I joined within the scale-up phase, my top achievements were to birth a new customer application for their existing property insurance claim platform & construction pairing website, the new customer application help exiting user-base with an improved journey, and targeted to assist the business with customer loyalty and retention. With the overall housing market in the US being 143 million homeowners, the business wanted an experience to address the housing repair market. I conducted internal and external stakeholder interviews, researched property market value, spending on restorations and repairs in the US. Introduced Scrum and Design thinking ideation workshop with co-founders and the development teams, in order to groom the product features, prioritize TIA and introduce an improved method of user story writing vs functional specifications. I also created the UI design and provided complete wire-framing, information arch-types, and delivered a compelling high-fidelity design with user intent to buy performer features.

As a principal consultant, I worked with the CEO & Co-founder of SurgeonMate a MedTech company located in Lisbon, Portugal, I worked as a Product Consultant to refine product proof of concept, the minimum viable product within time, scope, and budget. I conducted technical feasibility studies along with the CTO and mitigated technical risks for the clients regarding data privacy laws in the EU. I managed relationships with Project managers, Tech Leads, and business owners from ideation to lo-fidelity wireframes, proof of concepts, beta, and launch, attended meetings within the product lifecycle on behalf of the client, advised junior project managers and technical leads on roadmap and priority builds and reached product, timeline and budget satisfaction with my client.

My mission was to transform a digital print product into a SaaS directory, whilst focusing on the brand and equity value of Hello Education Magazine. With a team of 3, in 90 days we performed a GTM test campaign with international schools in Bangkok, the result was 52 signed trial agreements, where my team and I visited 3 appointments per day. The AEG platform was re-branded launched after 45 days, with 20,000 listings, and then quickly expanded to HK, MY, UK, INDIA & Singapore. In 6 months of the product, with $0 marketing spend, we had 400,000 page views organically and averaged up to 10 leads per day of parents seeking international schools. We launched a subscription-based payment gateway to evolve from customer-face to face selling with Omise, where International schools were able to purchase our SaaS product and it's advertising directory packages. In our time we have successfully enrolled Children & young adults to BASIS, St Andrews & Rangsit University.

I worked together with a prominent leading publisher in Indonesia, to offer their publication to be distributed to almost 1,000 points of interests and locations in 7 cities around China.

My project at Burda International (Burda Luxury) was to work together with my CEO and stakeholders in Singapore to develop a new custom publishing brand and its offerings. The business unit required a re-structuring of specialist talent in-house and external and needed to be revitalized to compete in today's content/custom publishing market. The model included a business unit separate from Print & Digital and required its own P&L segregation to maintain strategic focus and growth. Part of my role was to hire and find Top Talent including regional MDs and provide training and development programs to empower leaders with finance, BI, and strategic thinking. Augment is now available in 4 countries, across Asia and contributing to 25% towards the company's bottom line. 

  • Researched competitor products, market trends, and end-user feedback to define new business requirements and GTM strategy across 5 markets KL, HK, SG, TH, IN

  • Create workshops with key executives and country-level MDs to influence the adoption and implementation of the new business division

I conducted full audit controls on accessibilities, rights, permissions, privileges, inventory, and licensing and worked together to execute a large-scale migration to Microsoft365 and its tools into Thailand and several other countries. I completed the processing security levels of data, with the migration of offline to secure cloud with a Government ISO approved vendor. 

  • Work in close collaboration with Global Chief of Compliance & Global ISM Chief to conduct Asia-wide survey with MDs for using TIA approach on transparency, inspection, and adaptation for mitigating risks

My project at Burda International (Burda Luxury) was to lead a data governance project from offline and online that required to be compliant in handling sensitive personal data with the right to be forgotten across 6 countries including administering GDPR best practices. Reporting to the head GDPR and compliance board member, I worked together with Country managers & C-Level executives, distribution and print departments, and digital to migrate millions of data points to a secured server and implemented predictive algorithms on behaviors of consumers whilst enriching data-sets of Identity resolution.

As a hired entrepreneur in residence, I was promoted by my Board of Directors to execute an early stage MVP and complete the end-to-end eCommerce platform for Thailand consumers within the Mother & Baby segment. Highlights of my achievements were to scale the business from $0 to $2m in 10 months, P&L responsibility of $600k, and managed a team of 40 full-time employees. As a result, I won the Entrepreneur of the Year award in Thailand and was published as one of the top women breaking the glass ceiling in Forbes for technology.

I started at Exa as an Intern, in administration and executive EA to two co-founders and directors. It took me 4 years to receive a promotion to start a BPO center in Bangkok, Thailand as their Country Manager.

With 40 technical full-time engineers specializing in Ruby, PHP and MYSQL, I was in charge of overseeing client builds and employee happiness of over 400 e-commerce and digital projects for our clients in Australia.
